Yifan Gao joined the Psychophysiology Lab as a volunteer in November 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she also worked as a Research Assistant in Kara Federmeier’s Cognition and Brain Lab. Yifan is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is interested in studying cognition and affect in psychosis and mood disorders and further implications for diagnosis.
